  When you connect to a Bonjour address, ssh probably uses IPv6 - at least,
Little Snitch'es reaction to such connections is very different on my
machine. Try connecting as

ssh -4 yobgorgle.local

  I have also seen very strange things with scp being unable to copy files
unless Remote Login were enabled on the source(!) machine (hadn't time to
investigate and file in Radar).
