Re: Running AIX executables on Intel based Macs

It [AIX] had the ability to convert programs created and run on it into executables which could be run on Intel systems.

This is the first time I hear about such a converter.

The usual way to go is to use an emulator. There is/was an Windows emulator for AIX. Are you talking about this one?

Can Intel based Macs now run AIX created executables within OS X?

Your best bet is using "qemu". Likely, an G5 based Mac will be faster than an Intel based one, though.
