Hi all,

I have a USB drive mounted as NTFS partition on MAC 10.5.

I have an executable complied on MAC 10.5. Then I copied the executable to USB having NTFS partition on windows.

I brought USB to MAC 10.5 and try to execute the binary from volume itself. It says permission denied.

I could also see user, group and owner have no “x” (execute) permission.

If I copy the binary to MAC disk change its permission then I can run that binary.

But I want to run the binary from Volume itself.

I have no problem if my OS is MAC 10.4.

Is it a MAC 10.5 problem? Is their any solution to above problem?
