Again, I'd like to thank you all for the constructive debate.
I'm most probably going to handle extended attributes within userland
with a char device communicating results to the kernel extension.
Also, I'm going to fill a decent request to bugreport.apple.com to see
if I can get the thing into the mainstream kernel.. Regarding that,
how much chances do you think I have for that to happen? (apple
satisfying my request :-) )
