Re: Bootable clone

Title: Re: Bootable clone
Hi, Josh--

I’ve already got the copying part down. Plus I don’t want to have to create a disk image first.

I’ve already been given a bit more of the answer. Which was that I was forgetting to bless boot.efi for Intel Macs. I’ve now put that into the set of commands.

I’ve decided to keep going with a backup project I was doing, at least just for the fun of it, anyway. Can anyone tell me the exact step-by-step to make a cloned drive bootable in 10.4-10.5?

If you just want to clone the drive then take a look at the man page for asr.

Josh
