Re: mac osx vs linux for high throughput network servers



The application I have in mind for Darwin is high-frequency trading. I haven't heard of it being used in this scenario, all I hear is Linux.

I wonder, what OS does Apple use to run their iTunes, MobileMe, etc. services. If not Mac OSX then why?
