Please look at http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2001.html for a
description of files that can be run from Open Firmware. A tbxi file is one
such file. We chose tbxi as a file type or creator, I forget which at the
moment, to eliminate localization issues. If Open Firmware passes control to
such a file, the file can use its Client Interface (IEEE 1275 Section 6 for
details) and return to Open Firmware or keep control such as booting any
kind of any operating anything. i.e. __your code is in control of the
microprocessor until the electricity goes away__
Oh yea, drop our OS, either one, onto ResEdit and do a "get info" from the
file menu and you will see the tbxi as a field in the dialog box.
