Re: 64-bit support



This is a good point.

You should never overlook something because "people aren't going to use it".

Bill Gates did that... "No one will ever need more that 640K of RAM" and
look how long it took MS to dig itself out of the Windows9x/DOS hole it fell
in.

Remember how much of an advantage the MacOS had when it was happily running
along in 32 bits when dos was stuck in 8 and 16bit.

I would say that making darwin (at least) 64-bit clean would be a high
priority. Otherwise in 5 years time you will all be kicking yourself saying
"Why the hell didn't we do that back then"
