Re: configd crashes



we are duplicating work rrp, we should communicate more, so only one of us
is driven crazy by this stuff.. The other can be driven crazy by other stuff
:-)

I am going through the same process you are right now.. Here is what I have
learned ..

You need to compile all the plugins in the
/System/Library/Systemconfiguration directory, that means
IpConfiguration.bundle, PowerManagement.bundle, PPPCOntroller.bundle and
USBUPSSupport.bundle .. Now these are all in different projects.

I am currently fighting with cross compiling ppp on my tibook, and then I
will do powermanagement, I have done Ipconfiguration (which is in the bootp
project) and I have a sneaking suspicion that the USB one wont need to be
done, so I am going to try ignoring that for now..

I think I'll have an answer tonight as to whether this will work.
