Re: USB Networking



USB uses a client server model. You can't hook the ports of two USB
computers together. The cables are even built specifically to disallow this.

This is another way in which Firewire differs from USB.

Even if it were possible to hook the two machines together using USB, a PC
ethernet card is probably cheaper than a USB cable. Then again, getting the
ethernet card to work may be a different story.
