Which is all fine and good within the state of California, which
(fortunately) most of the world isn't. Under US law, a minor does not
have the ability to give their work away since they don't have the ability
to enter into a contract to do so. This is one of the advantages of being
an open source project that isn't "owned" by anyone.

Lawyers are lawyers, expecting ANY of them to not suck is just going to
result in your being surprised and disappointed. Can we stop wasting
bandwidth on this idiotic thread now?
