Thanks for the tip, it seems like I was barking up the wrong
tree. Since there are going to be some major changes with
netinfo, and theres already an ldap extension for php, I should
probably cease developement :(

Personally I'd find a php wrapper around the DirectoryService API exceedingly useful. I'm willing to bet it'd be extremely popular.
