please help: malloc.h

Hi.

I'm trying to compile some code I need to work on that was written on linux.

Right off the bat, I get:

gcc -O3 -Wall -DPC -DLINUX -DALPHA -c -o IO.o IO.c
Chess.h:5: header file 'malloc.h' not found
cpp-precomp: warning: errors during smart preprocessing, retrying in basic mode
make: *** [IO.o] Error 1

So, ok, malloc.h is not found... I have no clue where to go next. I'd greatly appreciate any assistance!
