Make a kernel extension to change a value in Reggie SE

I need to make a kernel extension that will change a value in the reggie se application from "un-checked" to "checked" The register in question is L3CR. I need to be able to change the ratio of the CPU to the L3 cache.I need to make a kernel extension that will change a value in the reggie se application from "un-checked" to "checked" The register in question is L3CR. I need to be able to change the ratio of the CPU to the L3 cache. I need this Kernel extension to run at boot time possibly using the bootx loader. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
