a couple of questions about the MachORuntime pdf

i'm reading and trying to understand the MachORuntime.pdf and have a couple of questions about it:

in the section "loading plug-in code with bundles" it says:
"... in some cases (depending on the code in the bundle), bundles can also be unloaded."
what cases? what makes bundle/plug-in code unloadable and not unloadable?

in the last chapter "Mach-O Dynamic Linking Functions Reference" for NSAddImage it says "adds the specified mach-o image to the currently running process". according to the glossary an image is any mach-o file built for use with the dynamic linker. then a little further down NSAddImage's description it says "..pass the pathname to a shared library on disk".

a shared library is an image. so is a mach-o bundle (or plug-in -- same thing i think). but a shared library and bundle/plug-in are two different things aren't they? or maybe not? if the two things are different does NSAddImage just handle shared libraries or does it handle images in general including plug-in/bundle code?
