Hi,

I'm having problems on one particular machine when trying to connect to a Windows 2003 server using the Finder. When I connect using the following url

smb://myserver

I'm getting a the SMB/CIFS Filesystem Authentication dialog after entering the correct info I'm getting the following error in the Finder

"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "smb://myserver" could not be read or written. (Error code -36)."

I think it' s looking for a fully-qualified name. Windows makes assumptions about local domain and I think you'll need to specify it as part of the url. Try ... smb://myserver.no.netopia.com and see if that's any better

Cheers.....Peter
