Question about using darwin for my application

Hi,

I am writing an application which should transmit data to a centralized server
and that server should relay this data to clients connected to it. I am
planning to use Darwin for this purpose. With the information that I gathered
from Darwin admin guide, I realized that this is not possible directly as
Darwin would not understand the structure of data that I am sending and I need
to change the format to a hinted track format and then transmit it. Is this
opinion of mine correct ? If yes can anybody guide me to an appropriate place
where I can find the format in which I can send data to Darwin and get it
relayed to others.

Any kind of suggestion would be great.
