Re: Darwin Newbie needs some help on compiling

Thank you, after installing the DiskArbitrations headers, I got a few steps further!

It now seems, the only things missing is libunc, for UNCUserNotifications. Is that something that must be built, or is it again sufficient to install the headers?

Thanks again

Alex

Finlay's correct, you don't want to re-install CoreFoundation over a Mac OS X system (CoreFoundation is an exception to most Darwin projects). The real issue is that webdavfs apparently relies on CoreFoundation's private headers. The Mac OS X Developer Tools do not install any private headers.

Actually the issue is that webdavfs wants to use DiskArbitration's headers, which aren't installed on OS X because it's not a supported API. Do what Kevin said for DiskArbitration to satisfy that requirement :-)

(I'm not sure if DiskArbitration's headers #include CoreFoundation's private headers, I don't really see why they should. If they do, then do an installhdrs for both.)
