Darwin Newbie needs some help on compiling

Hello, and sorry for possibly asking a stopid question (for which I did not find help on google :( )

My goal is to compile the mount_webdav tool, from webdavfs-148.5 on Mac OS X (10.3.3, but I am flexible on that).

This seems to be dependent on the DiskArbitration Framework. When I tried to compile that, it asked for CFRuntime.h. I then downloaded CoreFoundation-262, and naovely issued a make command. This threw:

"In file included from /tmp/CoreFoundation.sym/CoreFoundation.framework/Headers/ CFUserNotification.h:29,
from AppServices.subproj/CFUserNotification.c:27:
/tmp/CoreFoundation.sym/CoreFoundation.framework/Headers/CFBase.h:38: 37: CarbonCore/MacTypes.h: No such file or directory"

and many, many more errors at me. Is there any path I should pass to make? The requested file lives on my machine at /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/ Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework/Versions/A/Headers/MacTypes.h

The big question is: What is the best way to compile mount_webdav?
The detail question probably is: How do I compile the CoreFoundation Framework.

For a little backgrounder: I consider myself a very experienced with Cocoa and development in general. I just never tried to compile something from darwin source code :(

I appreciate your help on this!

Thanks a lot

Alex
