SetProperty security...

Greetings all...

I've got a couple of small drivers that use a setProperties interface to communicate with user space. I'm curious if there is a way to check the that the user space caller had root access. I'm basically trying to figure out if there is an equivalent to "IOUserClient::clientHasPrivilege( current_task(),
kIOClientPrivilegeAdministrator );" for setProperties interfaces. Does anyone know of such a beast?
