scanf

Does anyone here use xcode? I posted to the xcode list and got no response; why doesn't the debugger work with scanf. Specifically, my app in debugger mode waits on scanf input, but I can't find anywhere to do the input! nothing works.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
