As per Nano's (USB team) suggestion I'm using "registerPrioritySleepWakeInterest"._______________________________________________

During cleanup you need to call remove() on the notifier and not release() as it say in the Doc though.

Subject: Shutting down cleanly
Folks,
Is there a method which is called for an IOService descendant which
indicates that the system is shutting down (or restarting)? I have some
background threads in my driver, which need to be shut down cleanly
before the system can shut down. I've put a PE_enter_debugger call in
stop, to see if that was ever being called, but I never hit it. Perhaps
my driver isn't being closed properly for some other reason?
Thanks for your time,
Ron Aldrich
