Modifying at runtime a driver's power state capabilities

Hi,
I'm currently implementing the power management for a PCI card. My card
can handle (for now) two states: full power and sleep. The problem, is that
at some point, we have to force the system not to sleep the PCI. The reasons
are complex. Part if for the user not to loose data, the other is hardware
reasons. So I want to be able to update the power states I gave the OS with
registerPowerDriver.

Is it doable ?

Should I have three power state (one with kIOPMPreventSystemSleep ) and use
powerStateForDomainState and return the state kIOPMPreventSystemSleep while
my device can't go to sleep ?

Francis
