I also get this error with my USB ADSL modem if the ISOC bandwidth is not
sufficient. An idea is to check the bandwidth available before opening the
interface.
Another error I get in this case (insufficient bandwidth) is
"IOUSBInterface: stalling for module". This is more serios, as in this cse
my driver is not opened at all.
