That (using a script to build the .pkg after build) would be really

useful. Is this a shell script or apple script?

Would you mind posting that to this group?

Thanks.

Devendra.

It's a shell script. I cannot post it here since it's way to customized to
explain the basics.

I suggest to play with the Developer Tools PackageMaker first. You will need
a directory with the files as you want to install them, and (optional) a
directory with some other resources. Creating and filling this directories
is the first step in your script.

The magic command that creates the pkg is "package" You can type this at the
prompt to see possible options. It's rather straightforward once you know
PackageMaker. PM also creates a .info file, which is a simple text file, you
will need this as "info-file" to the package command.

Hope this helps...

PS: the package command seems to have changed in 10.2. I haven't figured out
yet. does anybody know more about this?
