USB Driver

Hello all,

I have a vendor-specific USB device. I ultimately need to communicate
with this device from a user-land CFM application. I think that I will
need to do the following:

1. Create a kernel-level driver to prevent Classic from taking
control of the device.
2. Create a user-level Mach-O command line tool to configure the
device and perform I/O with it.
3. Create a CFM shared library that invokes the tool to allow an
application to communicate with the device.

Is this accurate? If not, what have I added that I don't need, or
missed that I will need?

Thanks in advance,
Mac Murrett.
