problem with IOPCCard16Enabler

Hello!

I am writing a driver for a IOPCCard16Device.
Due to an error in the card configuration info of the
card I would like to modify a flag before the
IOPCCard16Enabler->tryConfiguration is called.
In the example sources of ApplePCCardSample they say
just deriving from IOPCCard16Enabler and overload a
method (e.g. sortConfigurations) to do some own stuff.

But in my IOKit (Version 5.2) all members of
IOPCCard16Enabler are private.

In
http://web.mit.edu/darwin/src/modules/IOPCCardFamily
the members of IOPCCard16Enabler are protected.

Will this be so in the next version of IOKit, or have
I to implement my own entire Enabler ?
