Zero-copy PXI-X driver for G5 Mac, process access to 7 GB memory

On the Dual G5 Power Mac with 8 GB memory:

I would like to allocate a set of blocks of physical memory totalling about
7 GB.

I would like each block to be at least 4 MB if possible, and fixed.

1. Is it possible to for an application on each of the two processors to
access (by pointer dereference) this set of blocks?

2. Is is possible to write a PCI-X driver that lets our PCI-X card transfer
data to these blocks of memory directly without a copy. (i.e. a zero-copy
driver).

Thanks for any info
