Power management drive

Hi all,

I writing a I/O Kit driver for a pci card. I would like to implement powermanagement code so I can prevent system going to sleep if any application has connection to the card.

I read throught I/O Kit fundamental and has some what idea what is policy maker and what is Power Controller. However, when come to coding time, I still have difficulty realize it.

Does any one know where to find some good example for it?

I really appreciate any lead, and hint.
