Hello, I am developing a filter graphics driver through which all the calls will be routed. I have developed the kext. Now I have to place it above the graphics kext like in my system ATIRadeon8500. How to achive the above task so as to place the driver at exactly proper position aboce ATIRadeon8500.

Other point is that , after the calls have come to us should we call the underlying kext appropriate function or Apple Mac standard graphics APIs. eg if our kext receive a call from user space for Changing of mode , then should we call the ChangeMod function implemented by the graphics kext or ChangeMod function of IOGraphicsFamily.
