Hi I'm using Mac OS X 10.3.2 on a PowerBook. The OS releases the IOPCCard and IOCardBusDevice from the system during a sleep. Is this the expected behaviour????? The system logs are ; kernel: IOPCCard: shutting down socket 0. kernel: IOPCCard: calling terminate on socket 0 function 0 nub 0xc83000. IOCardBusDevice: releasing socket 0 function 0 from card services. I've devices connected to the card which gets ejected when the system sleeps. I need to prevent this !!!!!! I get the following 2 messages in my message() function when i 'Power OFF' the card from menu. CS_EVENT_EJECTION_REQUEST CS_EVENT_CARD_REMOVAL But when the system sleeps i only get the second message and there i can't do anything more than a clean up work. Any ideas? Has anyone used a PCCard with devices attached to it like a cardbus firewire device with harddisks attached? If yes what is the behaviour like during a sleep n wake up?
