No. You should stick to the ATA family. Trying to make an ATA controller or device look like a SCSI Parallel controller or device is not supported.


Some developers have tried this and have run into problems particularly when their customers try to see attached ATA devices using System Profiler.

ATA families.

No, there isn't.

BTW, the engineers who support ATA and SCSI are more active on the ata-scsi-dev mailing list. You'll have a better chance of getting your questions answered there:
