hi everyone,
i am trying to write a port of the ipw2200 driver for centrino wireless
cards to darwin....
but i'm having trouble uploading the firmware to the network interface
since the linux ipw2200 driver uses request_firmware() which is part of
a unified hotplugging firmware api, to read the firmware files off the
filesystem... is there such a method using the IOKit...
or how else can this be done with the IOKit? i wasnt able to find any
wireless driver sources for this purpose either...
any advice is apprechiated
