detecting memory leaks in a kext

Hi. I'm wondering what techniques exist for detecting memory leaks within a
kext. My driver does unload, but this does not allow for leaks through
IOMalloc, as, AFAIK, they don't have any reference counts. I'm nervous
because I've just found a significant leak in my kext, and I want to make
sure there are no other outstanding non-freed allocations (at least for that
combination of execution paths).

Is there any way, for instance, of tagging a memory pool allocation, or is
there a diagnostic tool which tracks IOMalloc/IOMallocAligned usage/history
for my kext?

thanks,

Philip Lukidis
