Hi,
If this is the wrong forum for this, please let me know where a more acceptable
place would be.
We recently upgraded our old PPC XServe to a new Intel Xeon XServe. In
migrating, we are having a problem getting our ADIC Scalar 24 FC tape library to
operate correctly. We are using Atempo Time Navigator, but when it tries to
connect to the library it returns the following error:
IOCreatePlugInInterfaceForService failed, system : 0x38, sub-system : 0x0, code
: 0x2c7
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this on the new Intel machines, as
I swapped it back out to a PPC machine and everything worked fine, so it appears
to be a problem with just the Intel OSX. We also have a few XServe RAIDs hooked
into the HBA and they work flawlessly.
I have been back and forth with both Apple and Atempo support, but it is going
very slowly.
