I just found out that the read/write interface for the IOStorage class is not compatible in 10.6. There is a new attr argument and the completion object is not passed as a pointer. It is trivial to port it BUT if the customer upgrades from 10.5 to 10.6 and they have some IO filter drivers, are they going to have major problem?? How would they know which driver they have to upgrade? Please share your ideas. Tony Wong Bing brings you maps, menus, and reviews organized in one place. Try it now. |
