Tony, The IOStorageFamily team does a very meticulous job when it comes to situations like this; whilst I don't want to just automatically point the finger I'd be very surprised if you weren't able to do at least one of the following: - use the 10.5 method in the 10.6 environment - use the method that you're seeing as required in 10.6 in the 10.5 environment (and Dan's response overlapping mine indicates this is the case) - use a kext built for 10.5 on a 10.6 system with no recompilation (obviously this only covers your 32-bit needs) On the subject of getting a quick answer - DTS is where you should always go if you have a pressing business need for a speedy response. = Mike On Nov 5, 2009, at 1:59 AM, Tony Wong wrote: -- Excellence in any department can be attained only by the labor of a lifetime; it is not to be purchased at a lesser price -- Samuel Johnson |
