Re: LPR Printing via IP not happening! --> Wrong Colours...Speed...

Hi there,

I've got my Epson Stylus Color 800 set up on RH7.1 using printconf-gui.

1) How do you set it up so that colours are consistent from the Mac to Linux?
e.g., I just printed out a document from my wife's powerbook and Red , for example, comes out as Orange!

2) Now- is there some way of taking the printing out of first gear?
It is just soooo slow printing even a very simply page of text.

What suggestions do people have for this.

3) Also - do people find there are any loss of page margins/fonts etc when printing from Mac OS X to a Linux box?
What's the best way to ensure the best quality and What-you-see-is-what-you-get printing?
