I just checked the hardware compatibility list and there is a note
for a working instance under VMWare and another under the not working
category. I just tried to do an installation under VMWare GSX Server
v3.1.0 and everything loads properly up until the point where it
proposed the available disks for installation. There it just stops
and doesn't present any choices. The virtual machine is a vanilla
configuration using the basic wizard with a fixed size disk image.
I've tried it using emulated IDE and SCSI drives.
Has anyone has any luck getting this configuration to work? Or
another confirmed virtual machine solution? I don't have any
compatible PC hardware available to me at the moment.
