I have been interested in running Darwin ever since I
got this Athlon box, but it never seems to work.
Prior versions would install, bu then the bootloader
wouldn't do anything. 8.0.1 gets to the Select which
disk to install prompt, and then stops. Prior
installer CDs will say 1 WDC 80GB..., but this one
just says Select which disk to being the installation,
followed by a blank line. I have an Athlon XP2100+,
nForce2 board, ATi FireGL 8700, and 1GB of DDR. My
brother has an eMachines T1600, which runs into the
same problem.
Anybody know a fix?
