Uh ...
there is no "virtual" CMOS battery in a "virtual" machine.

I'm
actually running in Virtual PC 2004 ... I mentioned that further down in the
e-mail. It seems this is a known, and fixed, issue with FreeBSD
when running in virtual machines ...
