I have been trying to get libusb to work on an Intel Mac Mini with no
success, and I would appreciate any help that anyone could give me. I have
tried downloading the source from Sourceforge and building the library on my
machine, but I still can't get it to work. What happens is that
usb_find_busses() finds the USB busses, but usb_find_devices never finds any
devices. The USB port hardware appears to be working correctly, since I can
see all my USB devices in Apple System Profiler. I have also tried
downloading a version that's supposed to work on Intel Macs from
DarwinPorts, but that gave the same results. Do I have to do something to
disable the standard OS X USB drivers or something in order for libusb to
work correctly?
I really appreciate any help or suggestions anyone may have. Thanks very
