darwin-intel gdb support??

Hi There

After spending most of the evening double taking the configure scripts for
gdb.
I have pretty much reached the conclusion that it "Darwin-Intel" is not
supported.
bfd does not have "darwin-intel" in its supported platforms, (just about
everything else though).
This is as far as I get through in the configure process, there may be more.

Has anyone attempted and successfully built gdb for Intel. If you have could
you gently point me in the right direction.
