I was surprised that Tony never got a real answer to this. The
Administrator account givin at the time of installation is *NOT* the root
account and does not have all the privileges of the root accout. But, yes
Tony, there *is* a root account...
To enable the root account:
1) Run the NetInfo Manager in the Utilities folder.
2) Choose Domain > Security > Authenticate. Enter the Administrator
account password.
3) Choose Domain > Security > Enable Root User.
4) Enter a new password for the Root account. Make it a good one! This is
a dangerous account for the kids to get into!
You can now login as 'root' to have your godlike privileges. Careful! You
can really do damage in this account.
