Re: 'w' and 'uptime' stopped working

This is really strange:

[gandalf:~] dluke% uname -a
Darwin gandalf.geeklair.net 1.3.7 Darwin Kernel Version 1.3.7: Sat Jun 9 11:12:48 PDT 2001; root:xnu/xnu-124.13.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc
[gandalf:~] dluke% w
w:
[gandalf:~] dluke% who
dluke console Jul 26 00:56
[gandalf:~] dluke% uptime
uptime:
[gandalf:~] dluke% ls -l `which w`
-r-xr-sr-x 1 root wheel 18772 Jul 5 17:58 /usr/bin/w*
[gandalf:~] dluke% ls -l `which uptime`
-r-xr-sr-x 1 root wheel 18772 Jul 5 17:57 /usr/bin/uptime*
[gandalf:~] dluke% /usr/bin/w
/usr/bin/w:
[gandalf:~] dluke% /usr/bin/uptime
/usr/bin/uptime:
[gandalf:~] dluke%

I built my own new version of 'w' and it did the same thing.

Has anyone else seen this? (I can't seem to think of what I may have done to cause this to happen).
