java ?

Ola,

Is a Java 2 JDK available for Darwin ? I'm putting off getting OS X for a
few months, but want a Unix system to learn some of the bleeding edge web
development technologies & techniques, so I thought I might install Darwin
on my G3 233MHz beige desktop (still running OS 8.1).

I'd like to have a system that has a Java 2 SDK, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Apache,
and Perl, and would appreciate any thoughts anyone might have.
