Heh. With pdisk, you can even resize a partition you're using! Of course,
it's always better to make sure that data doesn't get chopped in half
first...

pdisk is a great partitioning tool. It would be nice if it had formatting
capabilities built in, but OTOH it's really usefull without them.

Bleh! My brain froze up. I was trying to say that you needed to actually
format the partition to use it for swapfiles. The HFS bit just sort of
slipped out..
