Re: Using a Web browser with file: on NFS-mounted files on Mac OS X?

The only time I have seen file: work with automounted NFS directories,
it's been with a really wierd URL, like

file:///%3Cnfs%20-1004%3E/foo/bar/bletch.html

This looks like some kind of underlying NFS mount point. Is there some
way to finesse this?

On the server, kill mountd and restart it with the -d option to see what's going on. "-d" isn't mentioned on the man page but you can see it when executing "mountd -x".
