Re: error 95: no mountable file systems

Have you tried another user? if that one doesn't have a problem: renaming your user library should solve the issue

Good luck

Hello All,

I am new to Darwin, and willing to learn :-)

The problem is , I suddenly can not mount .dmg files anymore.
This messages appears after double clicking on such a file:

"file.dmg" failed to mount, due to error 95: (no mountable file systems)

browsing the september archives of this list somebody complained about the same, saying he
accidently deleted something in /System/Library/Filesystems/. I certainly did not delete anything
myself (although I am learning Unix, and playing a lot with the terminal :-), but never got into
obscure places).

I can not install anything right now, even cd-roms doesn't mount.

Are there any solutions? What can I do anything to solve this?

Kind regards,

Ludo
