I disagree, but apologise if I'm in the wrong.

The problem with cross-posting is that most people are not subscribed to both lists. Hence, the suggestions and threads get quickly out of hand with content coming from one list or the other and being snipped and quoted in a manner that frustrates someone actually trying to follow the thread. It's cool to post the same question to different lists and see what you get, just don't CC them together...
